Important Things To Include In Digital Photography Lesson Plans


If you are someone that teaches digital photography, or you are getting ready to teach your first class in digital photography, then there are certain things that should be included in every annual digital photography lesson plan. It is never safe to assume that your students know everything that you consider the basics and you should always formulate your digital photography lesson plan to start at the very beginning of any level of competency and go over the basics at that level. It may be a boring review for some students but a well planned out digital photography lesson plan can take any student from the very beginning of their lessons right through to where the lessons are supposed to end and everyone will wind up learning something when it is all over. The next part of a good digital photography lesson plan is teaching how the equipment interacts with the environment and settings around it. How do you take pictures outside versus inside? What settings do you use in the dark versus light? What are the ideal conditions for using a flash? These are all extremely important to know before any real quality picture taking can begin because how the equipment works in concert with the surroundings is just as important as the subject you are shooting.

You may also want to throw in some words about choosing the proper setting and background. This is a digital photography lesson plan so the picture quality is going to be better than standard photographs so always make sure that the settings are as ideal as they can be to produce the best picture possible.
